. Press the CS key to cause the digital
access code to be displayed.
("00000" is displayed initially.)
Pressing the key once causes the digital
access code to be displayed.
(Pressing the key again will return you to
the normal frequency display.)
The digital code cannot be
programmed with the
F.LOCK on.
This function is independent
of the DCL key setting.
. Enter the digital code using the nu-
meric keypad.
The code is stored in memory automati-
cally, when the final digit is entered, and
is confirmed by long beep.
It is possible to receive while
setting the codes but not to
transmit.
. Rotate the MEMORY CHANNEL se-
lector to select the desired code posi-
tion for data entry, or to review the
contents of the other 9 code memor-
Each time the MEMORY CHANNEL se-
lector is rotated one detent position the
code memory will increment/decrement
one position. Continued rotation will al-
low continious tuning of the code posi-
tions.
An audible beep is emitted
from the radio each time the
dial is rotated to code me-
mory position one.
. Press the C.SQ key to activate the
C.SQ indicator.

Pressing this key once lights the standby
indicator. Pressing the key again will
turn the indicator OFF.
This operation is valid only
while the digital code is be-
ing displayed.
