A. Fasten the driver and passenger brackets to the driver and passenger
side of the unit with (4) MG screws & washers using a T30 Tone per side.
Passenger side shown.
Always disconnect the battery when installing electronic devices.

B. If the Defender is equipped with the factory plastic roof, it must be
removed prior to installing the overhead stereo. For installation
with the plastic roof follow steps C to N. Follow steps C to G and
then K to N if not installing with a roof.
