When

proper audio
mode VCR
can:
1)
record/playback
MTS
stereo
broadcasts (main language)
in
Hi-Fi
stereo.
2)
record/playback
mono
(main language)
or
SAP
(sub language) broadcasts.
3)
playback
non
Hi-Fi
tapes
in
monaural.
The
selected broadcast
sound
is
always recorded on
the
left
and
right Hi-Fi
track
as
well
as
the
normal
monaural
track.
This
means
tapes
can be
played
back on
Hi-Fi
and
non-Hi-Fi
VCRs.
