With the accompaniment stopped, press the SYSTEM/MIDI button five
times (the button will not light). The display will alternate between "PEd"
and "01" letting you know that the current PEDAL
Function is 01
(SUSTAIN). I£ you connect the optional footswitch (model F-1, available
separately) to the PEDAL jack, the footswitch will control the SUSTAIN
function. Use the +1/—1 buttons to select one of the other functions for
the PEDAL jack. Press the DEMO button to leave the SYSTEM mode.
