84 inch Bed Extension (5143B)
1 General
Check all parts for shipping damage. In case of damage, DO NOT use. Contact Carrier/Invacare for
further instructions.
To ensure the safe installation of the crossover cable service kit, these instructions must be followed:

Two 1/2 inch open end wrenches; one vice grip

Invacare products are specifically designed and manufactured for use in conjunction with Invacare accessories. Accessories designed by other manufacturers have not been tested by Invacare and are not recommended for use with Invacare products. After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result. - Page 3 Attach one helical spring (F) to one end of the link fabric extension (D). Attach the opposite end of the helical spring (F) to one of the four mounting holes in the four-inch extension (A). 13. Reconnect pull tube (E) to head spring drive arm using the clevis (G) and cotter (F) pins. Bed requires an 84-inch mattress.
