Note :
Care shou ld be taken to ensure that the fitting is mounted the right way up because light Distribution is
Asymmetric, the Glazing-frame Hinge is therefore always at the bottom of the fitting, as in the Exploded Diagram.
It is essential that the Lamp should be operated with the Long Axis wit hi n 4° of the horizontal, this can be checked
by
means of a spirit level.
This Fitting is suppl ied ready for mounting on :" Male Conduit. Any other mounting requires accessories. These
are illustrated overleaf.
IMSTALLATION AND WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
f. Remove Fitting from carton .
2. Attach Fitting to appropriate mounting accessory, (see accessory assembly instructions).
3. Loosen both of the cover fixing screws. lift cover slightly and swing aside.
4, lift terminal block from the locating peg-leave lamp holder wiring connected.
5. Feed the mains cable through the fixing bush and cable-clamp. secure the cable in cable-clamp, and connect to
earth connection and terminal block.
6. Replace terminal on locating peg, ensuring that leads are clear of cover plate.
7. Replace cover plate and tighten both of the cover fixing screws.
S. Adjust and aim fitting and check with spirit level.
