    1. INTRODUCCIÓN INTRODUCCIÓN El manual de instrucciones se ha elaborado para las bicicletas eléctricas que CONOR SPORTS S.A. fabrica para ayudar a aprovechar al máximo la bicicleta. Se sugiere leer atentamente. Guardar este manual con la bicicleta Este manual se considera parte de la bicicleta que se ha adquirido.

Existen distintos modelos eléctricos de CONOR SPORTS S.A. con distinto equipamiento, por lo que este manual contiene información variada que puede no afectar a la bicicleta. Algunas ilustraciones pueden variar con respecto a modelos del catálogo vigente y su uso es únicamente para una mayor comprensión gráfica.

    3. DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL DE LA BICICLETA La práctica del ciclismo no está exenta de riesgos. El uso adecuado y mantenimiento correcto de la bicicleta reduce el riesgo de sufrir lesiones y provocar daños materiales. El usuario asume la responsabilidad de ese riesgo. Es necesario conocer y aplicar las reglas de código de circulación.

  • Page 9 USO DE LA BICICLETA E-BIKE La bicicleta e-bike es una bicicleta tradicional con un sistema eléctrico de asistencia al pedaleo. La primera vez que se utilice la bicicleta e-bike active el nivel más bajo de asistencia y vaya adaptándose poco a poco al empuje adicional que proporciona el motor.

COLOCACIÓN Y FUNCIONAMIENTO DE COMPONENTES 1.1 Sillín y tija de sillín El sillín debe estar montado sobre la tija de sillín, en posición horizontal y centrada respecto al tubo superior del cuadro. La tija de sillín debe estar insertada en el cuadro de la bicicleta, respetando la indicación de inserción mínima, grabada sobre el lateral de la tija.

Es conveniente mantener limpio su equipo de iluminación. 1.7 Componentes específicos e-bikes “Bafang” www.bafang-e.com 1.7.1 Motor Una unidad de accionamiento se coloca en el buje de la rueda trasera. A continuación se instala el cableado que conecta con la batería y el display.

    6. NORMATIVA 1.7.3 Display Componente acoplado al manillar mediante un soporte. Se conecta al motor mediante cableado. Requiere de configuración previa a la utilización de la bicicleta. ATENCIÓN: como todo componente mecánico, una bicicleta sufre esfuerzos elevados y se desgasta. Los diferentes materiales y componentes pueden reaccionar diferentemente al desgaste o a la fatiga.

    7. NORMATIVA VIAL 1. Asegurarse de leer y entender el manual de instrucciones. 2. Puede que algunas leyes estatales o locales requieran que la bicicleta esté equipada con un dispositivo de aviso, tal como un timbre o una luz, si se va a utilizar la bicicleta de noche. 3.

Utilice el timbre para alertar durante la conducción. Utilización Utilice la bicicleta para el uso previsto. De lo contrario puede que falle y no responda a las exigencias.

    9. MANTENIMIENTO Y SU CUIDADO Es conveniente hacer revisar la bicicleta por un especialista cada cierto tiempo. El tiempo entre revisión y revisión dependerá del uso que se dé a la bicicleta. El especialista además de revisar todos los componentes de su bicicleta, indicará...

    10. AJUSTE DE LA BICICLETA MANILLAR, POTENCIA Y DIRECCIÓN Es conveniente revisar el juego de dirección de forma habitual. El manillar debe girar libremente sin que haya juego entre la horquilla delantera y el manillar. Para comprobar el estado del juego de dirección, accione la palanca del freno delantero con el fin de bloquear la rueda delantera.
  • Page 20 Montaje de la rueda trasera. 1.Girar el cambio trasero hacia la parte trasera de la bicicleta. Guiar la rueda para que entre en las ranuras de la horquilla trasera, con los piñones de la rueda en el mismo lado que la cadena. 2.

  • Page 22 2. Inflar parcialmente la cámara con una bomba de mano. 3. Inspeccionar la cubierta para comprobar que la válvula está dentro de la llanta. Reborde no asentado o fuera de la llanta. Desinflar la cámara, asentar el reborde con las manos e inflar parcialmente la cámara para inspección.
  • Page 23 Empezar a mano el enrosque de cada eje de pedal para no dañar las roscas de la biela. 1. Buscar las letras “R” o “L” estampadas en el eje del pedal. 2. Enroscar el pedal marcado “R” en la biela derecha (mismo lado del piñón).
  • Page 24 Las bicicletas e-bike están equipadas solamente con un mando de cambio que controla el cambio trasero. No hay mandos de desviador en las bicicletas de este tipo. Nunca forzar los mandos. Las palancas de los mandos deberían moverse fácilmente y la cadena debería desplazarse de un piñón a otro. Para cambiar la velocidad: reducir la presión de pedaleo durante el cambio.
  • Page 25 Si las manetas de freno tocan el manillar al ser accionadas suavemente, el sistema hidráulico debe ser purgado. Como la operación de purgado requiere conocimientos técnicos específicos, recomendamos que acuda a un distribuidor oficial para realizar esta operación. Compruebe que las pastillas están en posición correcta a una distancia de unos 0,5mm del disco.
  • Page 26 MANEJO Y MANTENIMIENTO DE LA BATERÍA Desmontar la batería si no utiliza la bicicleta durante un tiempo prolongado. Mantenerla guardada en lugares secos y temperaturas no superiores a 20ºC. Comprobar el estado de la carga antes de la utilización. Limpiar la batería con un trapo seco. Recargar batería utilizando el cargador proporcionado por el fabricante.
  • Page 27 Asegurarse de que la batería no está dañada. No abrir, despiezar o perforar la batería. Proteger la batería contra situaciones de cortocircuitos. Utilizar piezas originales al sustituir batería o cargador. Desechar la batería según la reglamentación vigente sobre eliminación de batería.

    13. MEDIO AMBIENTE Responsabilidad de minimizar el impacto de la presencia en el medio ambiente. Dejar todo tal y como se encontraba. Como usuario de bicicleta y para preservar el medio natural, nunca abandonar desechos y depositarlos en el punto de reciclaje más cercano. No favorecer la erosión o alterar el ecosistema al circular atajando por la vegetación o riachuelos.

    14. CERTIFICADO DE GARANTÍA GARANTIA LEGAL CONOR SPORTS S.A. garantiza, por medio de este certificado, la calidad de la bicicleta adquirida. La garantía legal tiene una validez de 3 años en España (Sujeto a normativa vigente en cada país.) desde el momento de la venta, pero puede variar en función del país donde se realice la venta.

    3. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE BICYCLE Cycling has its risks. Appropriate use and proper maintenance of the bicycle reduces the risk of personal injury and material damage. The user assumes the responsibility for this risk. You need to know and apply the rules of the highway code. The electrical system of e-bikes is activated and deactivated by pedalling.

  • Page 51 USING THE E-BIKE BICYCLE The e-bike is a traditional bicycle with an electric pedal assist system. The first time you use the e-bike you should activate the lowest pedal assist level and gradually get used to the additional impetus the motor gives you. Then you can gradually increase the pedal assist level.

    5. PLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS AND HOW THEY WORK 1.1 Saddle and seatpost The saddle must be mounted on the seatpost, in a horizontal position and centred in line with the top tube of the frame. The seatpost must be inserted in the bicycle frame far enough not to leave visible the height limit engraved on the side of it.

    6. REGULATIONS NB: like any mechanical component, a bicycle is subject to high stresses and wear. The different materials and components can react differently to wear or fatigue. If the foreseen lifetime of a component is exceeded it may break suddenly, which may cause injury to the cyclist.

    7. HIGHWAY CODE 1. Make sure you read and understand the instruction manual. 2. Some national or local laws may require the bicycle to be equipped with an alerting device, like a bell or a light, if you are going to use the bicycle at night.

    9. MAINTENANCE AND CARE We recommend you have the bicycle serviced by a specialist every so often. The time between each service will depend on the use you make of the bicycle. The specialist, apart from checking all its components, will tell you whether you need to replace any of the parts of your bicycle.

    10. ADJUSTING THE BICYCLE HANDLEBARS, STEM AND STEERING We recommend you check the steering set regularly. The handlebars must turn freely without any play between the front fork and the handlebars. To check the state of the steering set, pull on the front brake so that the front wheel locks.
  • Page 62 Mounting the rear wheel. 1. Move the rear derailleur towards the rear of the bicycle. Guide the wheel so that it enters the slots of the rear fork, with the wheel’s sprockets on the same side as the chain. 2. Position the chain on the smallest sprocket. 3.

  • Page 65 MOUNTING THE PEDALS For it to work safely, the pedal axle must be fixed firmly into the thread of the crank arms. Replace damaged pedals in any case. Start screwing in each pedal axle by hand so as not to damage the thread of the crank arm.
  • Page 66 HOW THE GEARS WORK The rear derailleur provides you with more efficient pedalling. If pedalling takes too much effort it means you need to change to a lower gear. If pedalling is too easy, you need to change to a higher gear. The lever on the right controls the rear derailleur.
  • Page 67 If the brake controls are actuated without the wheels mounted, the brake pads can get locked and it will not be possible to mount the wheels again until they are unlocked. To prevent the disc pads locking, use the spacers that come with your bicycle. Follow your bicycle’s braking system manual or go to an authorised dealer to solve the problem.
  • Page 68 LUGGAGE RACKS AND MUDGUARDS Components fitted on the bicycle and that can be attached and re- moved. The luggage rack and the mudguards are attached by screw- ing them into the frame. SPARE PARTS If you have to replace a damaged component, we recommend using the original components of the original assembly.

    General warnings Accessories such as helmet, bell and lighting devices are mandatory under highway code rules. Check that accessories are compatible with the CONOR WRC bicycle before purchasing and mounting them. Mounting accessories such as mudguards, luggage racks... that were not on the original bicycle and do not have the right adjustments or fastenings may stop the bicycle working properly.

    13. ENVIRONMENT Responsibility for minimising the bicycle’s impact on the environment. Leave everything as it was before. As bicycle user and to preserve the environment, never leave litter behind and dispose of it at the nearest recycling point.     14. WARRANTY CERTIFICATE LEGAL WARRANTY With this certificate CONOR SPORTS S.A. guarantees the quality of the bicycle purchased. The legal warranty is valid for 3 years in Spain (subject to law regulations in each country) as of the time of sale, but may vary according to the country the sale is made in.

  • Page 75 EXCLUSIONS: This lifetime warranty will not cover the following: • Defects caused by wear deriving from the normal use of the bicycle. We recommend you check your bicycle regularly. • Replacement of components such as seatposts, handlebars, handlebar stems, derailleurs, wheels ... that are not compatible with the new frame if changed is not included.

  • Page 77 REPLACEMENT POLICY FOR IMPACTS OR ACCIDENTS: CONOR SPORTS has a frame replacement programme at very low rates for owners who have broken a frame, either due to accident or for other reasons not covered by the warranty. The maximum period applicable will be 5 years as of the date of purchase and the damaged frame will remain the property of CONOR SPORTS S.A.
