Connect the drain valve adaptor to a garden hose and point the other end of the garden hose to a suitable draining area (see drawing 13). water not heating to set temperature
The Intex 28427E water may not be heating to the set temperature due to the following reasons:
1. The ambient temperature is lower than 50ºF (10ºC), which slows heating.
2. Outdoor wind can reduce heating efficiency.
3. The heater may already be off if the water has reached the set temperature (indicated by a green flame icon).
4. If the water temperature is too low (below 41°F or 5°C), the system may not start heating until warm water is added.
5. If the water temperature is too high, the heating system will shut off (error code E95).
6. The filtration system may be running in rest mode, preventing active heating.
