Step 1. Select your favorite panel setting.
Step 2. Press the MEMORY button first. Then while holding down
the MEMORY button press the RECALL button.

Accessory Jacks
* HEADPHONES jack

This jack is used to connect stereo headphones (optional). When
headphones are connected, no sound is produced from the
Clavinova's speakers. This allows you the freedom to play the
Clavinova any time without disturbing others.
@ AUX. OUT L/R jacks
These jacks can be used to connect the CVP-20 to an amplifier
or another speaker system. Also, by connecting the CVP-20
AUX. OUT L/R jacks to the LINE IN jacks of a tape deck, you
can record music produced by the Clavinova.

Note:
The AUX. OUT L/R jack signal must never be returned to the OP-
TIONAL IN jacks, either directly or through external equipment. Al-
ways use the OPTIONAL IN/OUT jacks when connecting Yamaha
EM-series expander modules.
e OPTIONAL IN (L,R)/OUT (L,R)
These jacks are intended primarily for use with the Yamaha EM-
series expander modules (EMR-1 Drum Box, EMT-1/10 Sound
Box, EME-1 Reverb Box, and EMQ-1 Memory Box). In the case
of the EME-1 Reverb Box, for example, the CVP-20's OPTION-
AL OUT jacks connect to the EME-1 LINE IN jacks, and the
EME-1 LINE OUT jacks connect back to the CVP-20's OP-
TIONAL IN jacks. This allows application of a range of high-
quality effects, including reverb and echo, to the CVP-20's
sound. Refer to the EM-series expander modules owner's manu-
al for connection details.

* MIDI IN/OUT/THRU
The MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) terminals con-
form to the world-wide standard for digital electronic instru-
ments. These jacks enable you to connect your Clavinova to a
computer or other MIDI compatible electronic instruments for
musical data communication (refer to "Ном to Use MIDI").
