If the Following Appear on Your Display...
If the unit detects a problem, one of the following messages will be displayed on the
base unit or the cordless handset. Error beeps or a busy tone will sound.

handset and the base unit away from electrical
appliances and try again.

If more than one cordless handset is in use, you may
not be able to register/deregister. Try again later.

Another unit tried to send directory items to you but
the transfer has been stopped (p. 37, 38).

When you tried to store an item in the directory, the
directory memory is full. Press
[STOP]
on the base
unit or
[OFF]
on the cordless handset to exit the
