• Installa directional antenna.

• Make sure your antenna system (TV or CABLE), is correctlyset. (P. 8-1 f)
• Make sure cassette record tab is intacl. (P.4)
• Check that dock is set to current time and date.
• Make sure DSS/CABLE box (il _Jsed)is left on and tuned to channel to
be recorded.
° Set recording Start/Stop limes correcth/.(P. 22-23)
• .Timerr.e.cordingmay not be performed or continued if a power
interrup_n o! more than 1 minute occurs before or during a Timer
recording even a_terpower is restored.
• Adjust TRACKfNG controlin eiff_erdirection. (P. 41)
• Aim remoteat remote sensor on unit (P. 7) so that signal is
unobstructed.
• Inspectthe remote batteries. (P. 4)
• Make sure VCR LOCK is set to off.(P. 31)

cause stgnal interference.
° Press COMBO button for COMBO mode. (P. 26)
• Check remote batteries,
• Insert the cassette window s_de up; record tab facing you.
° Completely insert Power Prug intoan AC outlet.
° Try ejectingor inserting the tape again after turning POWER off, then
back on.
* Make sure cassette record tab is inlact. (P. 4)
• To enable Quic_kPlay mechanism, the VCR cyfinderwill rotate for
_:]out 3 minutes. This reduces resporlse time from Stop to Play mode
and from PJayto Rewind Search mode,
