  • Page 2 WARNING DANGER – RISK OF DROWNING Always ensure children have adult supervision when using the spa to avoid accidents. Extra caution must be taken to prevent unauthorized action by children. Make sure the cover is securely fastened when not in use to prevent a child or pet getting into the spa. The use of drugs, alcohol or medication may cause unconsciousness with the possibility of drowning.

    The spa should not be set up or left out in temperature lower than 4°C (40°F). Use and lock the vinyl cover when the spa is not in use, whether it is empty or full. Use only approved accessories and recommended spa chemicals and cleaners. To avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

Filter cartridge cover Rubber plug g. Repair kit WARNING: Make sure the surface can support the load. WARNING: There must be an adequate draining system to deal with any overflow of water.
  • Page 5 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR INDOOR INSTALLATION If you choose to install the spa indoors, please follow these instructions: The floor must be able to withstand the capacity of the spa. The floor must be a non-slip, level surface. Proper drainage is ESSENTIAL for indoor spa installation. It is recommended that a floor drain is installed. Running the spa indoors will cause humidity.
  • Page 6 4. Inflate the spa tub by pressing the “BUBBLE” button. Once the spa is properly inflated, press the “BUBBLE” button again, this will shut off the bubbles. DO NOT OVER INFLATE – If you want more inflation when the spa is filled with water, you must put on the jets for 2-3 minutes by pressing the “bubble” button first and then operate according to steps 2-5 above.
  • Page 7 9. Place the cover on to the spa and fasten. OPERATING YOUR WAVE SPA DO NOT dry-run the power pack. Always ensure that the water matches the water line printed on the spa wall. Using the spa incorrectly will void warranty.

    The indicator lamp for the heating system will still be on but the heating will not work. Stop this by pressing the FILTER KEY once. The letters ‘FC’ on the display screen and the warning tone will then disappear. Actual water temperature will reappear on the display screen and all keys will return to normal working status.
  • Page 9 FILLING YOUR WAVE SPA: water should be filled to a position 20mm higher than the water line. If the water is filled too low, then the heating system may not work properly. If the spa is filled too high, water may spill over the tank when in use.

    3 days. It is important to take a shower before using your Wave Spa as cosmetic products, lotions, and other residues on the skin can quickly degrade water quality. Mismanagement of spa water will void the Wave Spa warranty.
  • Page 11 FILTER CARTRIDGE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Unplug the power pack from the electrical receptacle before the following actions. Unscrew the filter cartridge by turning counterclockwise. Remove the filter cartridge cover. The filter cartridge can be rinsed off with a garden hose and reused. However, if the filter cartridge remains soiled and discolored the filter cartridge should be replaced.

    DRAINAGE INSTRUCTIONS Make sure to unplug the power pack from the electrical receptacle. Put the plastic plug into the outlet in the inner wall of the spa. Open the outlet in the outer wall of the spa and screw one end of inflation hose into it. Pull the plastic plug off from the outlet in the inner wall of the spa, then the water will flow out.

    NOTE: do not use hard brushes or abrasive cleaners. REPAIRING YOUR WAVE SPA: Wave spa provides you with a repair patch for incase the spa is torn or punctured. To use the repair patch; dry the damaged area and use the glue provided to attach it to the damaged area. Be sure to smooth the surface to remove any air bubbles.

    Acts invalidating warranty: This warranty is void if the spa pool has been altered, misused, abused or has been repaired by an unauthorized person, or is not installed according to the factory instructions. Other acts that will void the warranty are operating the spa without water or improper water level, use of an extension cord, improper chemical maintenance, burying the spa below ground level, damage from ice or freezing, low voltage or excess voltage.
