Depending
on
the intended
usage,
more
than
one
speaker may be connected to each amplifier channel
to extend the service area. Follow the instructions in
the amplifier operating guide to prevent low synthetic
impedance on each channel. The rated impedance of
S-V7000 is 8 ohms.
Using Two or More Speakers on Each
Channel
e Connecting two speakers to each channel
Connect as shown in the diagram.
NOTE:
The synthetic impedance is 4 ohms.
Amplifier output

if three or more speakers are connected in parallel to one
channel,
the synthetic impedance
will be 2.7 ohms
or
jess, which may cause amplifier damage.

NOTES ON INSTALLATION
PRECAUTIONS
*» A microphone placed close to the front of the speaker
will cause howling and damage ihe speaker. Pay atter-
tion to the position and direction of the speaker instaila-
tion to prevent the speaker sound from directly enter-
ing the microphone.
* Avoid a location exposed to sunlight or close to a heat-
er, as the speaker may be damaged or the speaker cabi-
net discolored.
*
Do not stick adhesive
tape directly to the cabinet as
the coated surface may be damaged.
USING
THE
SPEAKER
SYS-
TEM SUSPENDED
FROM THE
CEILING

Improper installation is very dangerous and may cause
injury if the speakers
should fail. Be sure to have a
specialist assemble and install the speaker system.

Carefully check the ceiling before installation to can-
firm that it has
sufficient
strength
to support
the
weight of the speaker system. PIONEER is not liable
for any accident caused by the speaker system falling
due to insufficient installation strength or improper in-
stallation.
