What problem might occur if the data connection is not available for Piusi Self Service Management 2.0, and how can I find out why it is not working on my computer?

If the data connection is unavailable, the Piusi Self Service Management 2.0 system cannot transfer transaction data from the SELF SERVICE AGILIS unit to the PC. This prevents data logging, report generation, and user monitoring.

To troubleshoot the connection problem on your computer:

1. Check the connection method:
- For serial cable: Ensure the RS485 cable is properly connected and the Piusi PW-14 adapter is installed on the USB port.
- For Ethernet: Confirm the Piusi PW-LAN adapter is connected and the network is active.
- For Wi-Fi: Verify the Piusi PW-WiFi adapter is functioning and connected to the correct wireless network.
- For 4G: Ensure the Piusi PW-Mobile adapter has cellular signal and is active.

2. Inspect the KEY READER: If using an i-button key, make sure the KEY READER is securely connected to the USB port.

3. Check software installation: Confirm the AGILIS SELF SERVICE MANAGEMENT software is installed on the PC and running properly.

4. Verify the MASTER KEY: Ensure the key used is the correct MASTER KEY authorized for the unit.

5. Inspect the USB ports and cables: Test with different USB ports or cables to rule out hardware issues.

6. Review power supply: Make sure the SELF SERVICE unit is powered correctly and protected with a suitable circuit breaker or disconnection system.

These steps help identify and resolve most connection-related issues.
