OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

3.1 BEFORE THE FIRST USE
 Remove all packaging material, labels and/or stickers from your toaster. Make
sure there are no packing materials left in the slots.
 Insert the removable crumb tray into the crumb tray slot.
 Select a location for the toaster. The location should be:
o A flat, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface.
o At least 3 inches away from walls or back of countertops.
o At least one foot away from the cabinet or shelves that may be above the
toaster.
o Away from flammable materials, such as curtains and wall cloths.
o Far from a gas stove, flame or electrical element.
 Plug the power cord into a 220-240 V, 50 Hz AC outlet. To minimize cable clutter
on kitchen countertops, use the cable wrap located under the toaster.
 Most types of breads can be toasted. However, the slice should not be too small
to fall into the slot in the bread.
SUGGESTION:
Before first use, it is recommended that the appliance be operated without bread, with
the control knob in degree 3 and the lever in the down position to remove the
protective finish from the heating element. At this point, the appliance will smoke. This
is normal. Good air ventilation is recommended. After the first heating, allow it to cool
naturally before using it again.
3.2 USING THE TOASTER
1. Plug the toaster into the wall outlet.
2. Place the slice in the center of the slot.
3. After inserting the bread into the slots, select the toast with the toast level selector
and press the operating lever down until it locks. Self-adjusting bread guides
(located inside the toasting slots) automatically center the bread so that it is evenly
browned.
4. When the set toasting time has elapsed, the bread will automatically rise and the
operating lever and bread guides will return to their original position.
