3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

3.1 BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging material, labels and/or stickers from
your toaster. Make sure there are no packing materials left in
the slots.
• Insert the removable crumb tray into the crumb tray slot.
• Select a location for the toaster. The location should be:
o A flat, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface.
o At least 3 inches away from walls or back of
o At least one foot away from the cabinet or shelves that
o Away from flammable materials, such as curtains and
o Far from a gas stove, flame or electrical element.
• Plug the power cord into a 220-240 V, 50 Hz AC outlet. To
minimize cable clutter on kitchen countertops, use the cable
wrap located under the toaster.
• Most types of breads can be toasted. However, the slice
should not be too small to fall into the slot in the bread.
3.2 USING THE TOASTER
1. Plug the toaster into the wall outlet.
2. Place the slice in the center of the slot.
3. After inserting the bread into the slots, select the toast with
the toast level selector and press the operating lever down
until it locks. Self-adjusting bread guides (located inside the
toasting slots) automatically center the bread so that it is
evenly browned.
4. When the set toasting time has elapsed, the bread will
automatically rise and the operating lever and bread guides
will return to their original position.
5. The surface of the net, the heating element, the toasting slots
or the side cover are hot, so when removing the toasted
bread, care must be taken.
