resu t of a long and dedlcated effort to provide the most accurate music reproduction possible

Connecting the Speakers
The CS3.5 s inout terminals are located on the bottom of the speaker. To gain access to tlrem the speaker
shou d be laid on ts back. I ls essent al for proper performance

termlnal oi each speaker should connect to ihe respect ve pos tive output term na S of the arnplfier The speakels
should be connecied to the amp it er with h gh q!a lty cable to ins!re minimal oss of power and proper contro by
the ampliller. Lf the speakers are connected to a tube ampllier with several output taps, the 4 ohm tap shou d be

Connecling the Equalizer
The prelerred nT elhod of nsta Iing the equa izer s lo connecl it between the preamp ii er and lhe power
amp ii er. To imP emeni thrs:
. connect a set ol patch cords irom the preamp ll er outpuls to the equa lzer npuls
. connect another sel ot patch cords lrom the oltputs of ihe equal zer to the inputs oi the power ampiil er
Another method of connecting the equal zer is through the tape mon tor lacilities oi the amplilieT or rece vef.
To mplement lhis:
. connect a set of patch cords irom jacks on the amplitier labe ed 'lape oul" lo lhe nplts ol the eqlalzer
. connect anolher set of oatch cords tiofil the outplls ol the equalizer to iacks on the amplilier abeled

S nce the equalzer requires a very small amount ol power, we recommend that it be left on c0ntinu0!sly by
