Intended Use

The microphone is for converting acoustic signals (sound waves) to electric signals. The microphone is operated via an XLR cable and is especially suitable for use in sound studios, in radio stations and with live shows.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because of safety reasons. Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to associated risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Please read the operating instructions thoroughly and keep them for further reference.

Operation

  1. Switch off your mixing desk to which the microphone is connected.
  2. Turn the volume of the respective microphone input all the way down.
  3. Connect the microphone to the microphone cable's XLR connection.
  4. Connect the 6.3 mm jack plug to the microphone input on your mixing desk.
  5. Make sure the microphone is turned off. To do this, slide the on/off switch towards the XLR connection.
  6. Turn the mixing desk and any other audio equipment on.
  7. Turn the microphone on by sliding the on/off switch towards the microphone head.
  8. Speak into the microphone and while doing so set the volume and the tone to the desired values via the mixing desk.
  9. Switch your mixing desk off before separating the microphone from the microphone cable.

Product safety

  • Only connect the product to suitable microphone inputs, to prevent distortions or mismatching that might damage the microphone or any connected audio equipment. Please, to do this also pay attention to the connection data in the "Technical data" section.
  • To connect the microphone, only use a suitable shielded microphone cable. The use of other cables might cause interference.
  • Never point the microphone at the speakers in your loudspeakers, since this may lead to interference, which could damage the loudspeaker and the connected amplifier.
  • When used in conjunction with other devices, observe the operating instructions and safety notices of connected devices.
  • The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
  • The product must not be exposed to electromagnetic fields, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration, or dampness.
  • Handle the product carefully and do not drop it. Knocks, blows or even a fall from a low height can damage it.
