The following basic precautions should always be followed when using electrical appliances: Read all instructions before using the appliance. This appliance must be used only for the purpose it was expressly designed;...
  • Page 4 If you are using the appliance for the first time, you should: Fully charge the appliance for 16 hours. Subsequently, the charging process should last for 8 hours. Charge, use and store the dry appliance between – 10°C (14°F) and 40°C (104°F). DO NOT charge or store the appliance in the bathroom or near water sources, nor use the appliance whilst it is being charged.

    Avoid placing the appliance or power cable on abrasive or sharp surfaces or in positions where it can be damaged easily. The cable must NOT be placed under carpets, or covered with throw rugs, runners or similar. Arrange the cable away from the high traffic area, and where it will NOT be tripped over.
  • Page 6 Ensure that the appliance is switched off before charging the appliance. Insert the connector of the power cable, and the plug of the appliance into the electric grid. A red light indicates that charging is in progress. After the appliance is fully charged, the red light turns blue.

    HOW TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN Cleaning the appliance Press the ON/OFF Switch to turn OFF the appliance. Remove the power cable from the appliance (if attached). DO NOT clean the appliance while it is being charged. Remove the Guide Comb from the appliance by sliding it up (see pictures under the heading “To Remove and Attach the Guide Comb”).
  • Page 8 To Remove and Attach the Blade Front of appliance Rear of appliance To remove the Blade, press your thumb against the flat section of the Blade and push outwards in the direction shown in the picture on the left side. The Blade should detach as shown in the picture on the right side.
