(6) Turn the hand pulley (No.6) by hand in the direction of the arrow then, move up the needle bar (No.7)
from the lowest position and stop it at the position where the needle bar timing mark C is matched to
the needle bar bushing bottom line (No.8).
NOTE If the needle class is DPx5, match the needle bar timing mark D to the needle bar bushing bottom
line (No.8).

Timing mark C: For the needle class DP×17
Timing mark D: For the needle class DP×5
(7) Turn the hook by hand and stop it at the position where the hook point (No.9) meets with the center
line of the needle (No.10).
