INITIAL TUNNEL CONTROL PROGRAMMING:
Each Wrap Arm requires three tunnel controller outputs.
Output 1 (Retract / Extend Brush Arm)
Full Car – Activate this output so the wrap brush is in the extended position before vehicle
engages wrap brush.
Extend – Keep output activated long enough to ensure full rear coverage on the vehicle.
Look Ahead – Look ahead 20 feet for the next vehicle.
Output 2 (Mirror Bump / Retract)
Front Tire – Activate this output at the rear of the front tire before wrap brush reaches the
mirror.
Extend – Keep this output activated 3 ½ feet to release pressure against the side mirror.
Output 1 (Extend Brush Arm)
Full Car – Output 1 should be active again, after the 3 ½ foot extend for the mirror bump the
wrap brush should return to the vehicles surface.
Output 3 (Rear Shoot)
Rear Bumper – Activate this output 1 foot before the vehicle rear reaches the wrap brush.
Extend – Keep output activated long enough to ensure full rear coverage on the vehicle.
Observe several different vehicles pass through the Wraps and make small adjustments to the
above settings to the Tunnel Controller parameters.
Adjust the Air Pressure on the regulators as follows:
WRAP RETRACT: Adjusted so the wrap brush retracts slowly and smoothly and does not slam
on the stops.
WRAP SHOOT (Move-In): 5-10psi
Important: Before making any air pressure adjustments to the regulators on the control board,
you must adjust the Wraps according to the specifications in the Installation & Operations
Manual for the Wraps. The Wraps must be properly adjusted before using this control system.
