Warning
Objects placed on the installed wind deflector
can be thrown into the car's interior or endan‐
ger other road users, for instance in case of an
accident, braking or evasive maneuver. The ob‐
jects can damage the wind deflector. There is a
risk of injury or risk of damage to property. Do
not place any objects on the installed wind de‐
flector.
Warning
A wind deflector that has not been mounted
correctly may fly off and be thrown into the ve‐
hicle or endanger other road users. There is a
risk of injury or risk of damage to property.
Before driving, make sure that the retaining
pins are engaged in the fixing points and the
wind deflector is mounted securely.
Warning
Operating the wind deflector while driving can
distract from the surrounding traffic. There is a
risk of accident. Operate the wind deflector
only when the vehicle is stationary.
NOTICE
When moving the front seats back, the wind
deflector can be damaged. There is a risk of
damage to property, among other potential
damage. Make sure that the area of movement
is clear prior to moving the front seats back.

Installing
The wind deflector is located in a protective
pocket behind the rear seat backrest in the rear.
1.
Unlock the rear seat backrest from the trunk,
refer to page 301.
2.
Fold the rear seat backrest forward.
3.
Slide transportation retainer up. Remove wind
deflector.
4.
Take the wind deflector out of the protective
pocket.
5.
Fully unfold the wind deflector so that the
handle, arrow 1, folds down and locks the
wind deflector.
6.
Open the rear side window, if necessary.
