4. Insert a blocking tool at the red mark on both
sides of the vehicle. Press the blocking tool
into the two bores from the outside in.
5. Slowly guide the covers against the inserted
blocking tool.
6. On both sides of the vehicle, grasp the front
edge of the convertible top frame with one
hand. With the other hand, grasp the end of
the convertible top on the bottom edge.
7. Lift out the convertible top and the
convertible top ends on both sides simultane‐
ously and swing it forward. When you do this,

make sure that the convertible top ends do
not push against other parts.
8. Place the convertible top onto the windshield
frame and close the convertible top well stor‐
age cover. The end of the convertible top
must be folded up for this purpose.
Convertible top locking
1. Carefully remove the cover in the center of
the front convertible top frame.
2. Insert the convertible top tool into the
convertible top lock.
While a person presses the front convertible
top frame from the outside onto the middle of
the windshield frame: turn the convertible top
tool counter-clockwise until the front
