SAFETY PRECAUTION

READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

DO NOT OPERATE this raclette set near water sources or flammable liquids.
DO NOT OPEARTE this raclette set on or near any hot surface. (Hot plate, electric stoves etc).
Ensure the raclette set is placed on a stable, secure surface to eliminate the possibility of tipping over or avoid any water in the set.
Closed supervision is necessary when this raclette set is used by children. Never operate this appliance unattended.
Always operate this raclette set from an earthed domestic 120V power socket.
Use of an extension cord is not recommended as it may overheat and cause risk of fire.
Never try to touch the hot surface of this raclette set before it is cool down.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory. or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Clearing and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless thay are older than 8 and supervised.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Only use this appliance for its intended use. The appliance is not suitable for commercial use. This appliance is only suitable for household use. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
Make sure the plug is removed from the power supply socket. After the raclette grill set is completely cooled down, clean it with the mild cleaner or gel-like cleaner by using soft cloth.

PLEASED DO NOT CLEAN THE SET WHEN IT IS STILL HOT.

DO NOT USE hard brushes, scratchy materials and/or alcohol, petrol or any organic cleaner for the cleaning purpose.
Except the removable small pans, grill plate, do not immerse the main body in water to clean.
Put the raclette grill set on the cool place right after the cleaning.
To prevent the risk of electric shock, DO NOT USE the set with broken power supply wires or broken plug. All repair works must be made by a professional (authorized distributor). NEVER TRY TO REPAIR the cable or plug by yourself. Please take the damaged set to your local authorized maintenance center.
To prevent overloading and blowing fuses, ensure that no other high power appliance is plugged into the same socket, or another socket which is connected in the same circuit.
DO NOT PUT the cord under the carpet, blankets. Always keep the power cable away from walkway in room.
DO NOT TRY TO REPAIR the broken fuse by yourself, the user should take the set to your local authorized maintenance center to replace it with the new one.
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

PREPARATION BEFORE USE

Take apart the grill plate, pans and stone plate, clean with a soft damp cloth. Place your appliance on the level and stable surface. Then put the grill plate or stone plate on the top of the unit.
Check that the voltage marked on the product corresponds with your supply voltage. Ensure the controller is in the OFF position before plug in.
When using this raclette grill for the first time, there may be a smell of smoke coming from the surface of the heating element. This is normal because of the oily protective coating in production.

OPERATION

Connect the raclette to the power supply. Turn the knob or switch from "OFF" TO "ON" position and the indicator light is on for working, then pre-heat the raclette set for 5 minutes.
For slow cooking, put the food on the small pans then place them on the bottom plate. Or place your food directly on the grill plate for the purpose of grilling.
When you have finished using the raclette, turn the knob/switch to "MIN/OFF" position and unplug it from the socket. Wait until the appliance is completely cool down before moving or cleaning.

This product bears the selective sorting symbol for Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This means that this product must be handled pursuant to European directive 2002/96/EC in order to be recycled or dismantled to minimize its impact on the environment. User has the choice to give his product to a competent recycling organization or to the retailer when he buys a new electrical or electronic equipment.
