PRODUCT FEATURES

MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MICKEY responds to 15 different words and interacts on hearing them. He talks, walks, runs and jumps, interacting with the words* he hears. The product includes more than 70 phrases for replies and also stories and songs, which are reproduced as indicated below. MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MICKEY can interact with MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MINNIE (ref. 181847), another product from IMC TOYS (sold separately).

USE AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION NOTE FOR ADULTS

Before giving the product to children, first remove all plastic, wires and any other object designed to fasten it during transport.
This product comes factory-prepared for the "TRY ME" function. The batteries that it includes are designed for this use. Therefore, it is possible that they may be spent. If this is the case, we recommend they should be replaced.
The product is supplied by the manufacturer and for shop demonstration with the selector (A) in the TRY-ME position. In this position the product has limited functions. Put the selector in the ON position for normal operation (see Fig. 1).

OPERATION WITH BATTERIES

Replacement and fitting
This products requires 3 type LR6 1.5V (AA) alkaline batteries (included). First open the velcro fastener and put the selector (A) in the OFF position (see Fig. 1). Unscrew the safety screw from the battery compartment cover (see Fig. 2). Remove the worn batteries. Look at the illustration to see how to fit the batteries correctly (see Fig. 2) and place them in position with the poles as indicated. Put the cover back in place and screw it on for your children's safety, and finally attach the velcro fastener.

Remember! The batteries must always be replaced or handled under adult supervision.

Operation

With the selector in the ON position (see Fig. 1), MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MICKEY responds directly to the words indicated in the following table:

*1 Give me a hug: MICKEY responds by accepting and when you hug him round the waist MICKEY thanks you.
*2 Let's play: Among the various games MICKEY offers, if he challenges you to a game of TAG, he will start running and when you catch him by the waist MICKEY will be surprised how quick you are.
*3 Tickle: When he hears this word MICKEY will explain to you that he's ticklish and you can confirm it by rubbing his tummy.
*4 Together: As well as the functions indicated, MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MICKEY can interact with MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MINNIE when you say this word and put MINNIE beside him. MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MINNIE (ref. 181847) is another product from IMC TOYS (sold separately).


During an action or movement MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MICKEY will not respond to any of the words until he has finished the action he is performing. This action can be interrupted by pressing button (C) on his left hand (see Fig. 3).

Energy saving mode

If you do not play or interact with MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MICKEY for a few seconds and he does not hear any of the words included in the table, he will speak to you to remind you of his presence, and then finally he will go into energy saving mode. To activate him again press button (C) (see Fig. 3). After playing, it is advisable to put the switch at OFF to ensure it is completely disconnected.

Troubleshooting

If MY INTERACTIVE FRIEND MICKEY does not respond, the volume of the sounds decreases or his movements become erratic, it is a sign that the batteries are wearing out and need to be replaced.

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning: Only wash the surface of the product by hand. Remember that there are mechanisms and electronic circuits inside it which could be damaged when in contact with water. Use a cloth slightly dampened with water or dry foam, if necessary, and then dry immediately with a dry cloth or leave it to dry indoors, without exposing to sunlight or direct heat sources. Do not use detergents or solvents.
Do not use it until it is completely dry. If the equipment becomes wet, turn it off and remove the batteries immediately. Dry the battery compartment with a dry cloth. Leave the battery compartment open until it is completely dry. If you wish, use a hairdryer to speed this process up. Do not try to use the unit until it is completely dry.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RESPONSIBLE USE AND FOR PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

Put all the transport packaging, cardboard, plastic, etc, in the recycling containers in your neighbourhood.
Use rechargeable batteries whenever possible.
Remember to turn off the toy if you have finished playing with it and take out the batteries if you are not going to be using it again for a long time. If you no longer want the toy and it still works, do not throw it away. Remember that other people can still enjoy it, and find bodies or associations that can give it to them.
At the end of the life span of this product, it must not be disposed of as normal household rubbish. It should be delivered to a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic devices. Consult the symbol on the product, in the user manual or on the packaging for more information. The materials are recyclable in accordance with their markings. If you recycle materials or find ways to reuse old devices, you make a considerable contribution to protecting the environment.
Please consult the nearest recycling centre or local authorities.

  • The recommended age of the product is for over 3 years due to the necessary functions and interactions with it.
  • About safety age, the product was evaluated and it is compliant for children over 18 months.

SECURITY

  • Please keep the packaging for future reference as it contains very important information.
  • Please note that due to technical improvements this product may differ from the one that appears in the illustration.
  • This product requires 3 type LR6/AA 1.5V batteries (included).
  • This product is distributed with 3 LR6/AA batteries for the "TRY ME" function. For normal operation of the product, it may be necessary to replace the batteries.
  • The batteries or accumulators must be inserted according to the polarity indicated in the illustration.
  • Used batteries or accumulators must be removed from the toy; failure to do so could cause damage.
  • Do not mix old batteries with new ones.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries.
  • Use only those batteries recommended by the manufacturer or equivalents.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
  • The battery terminals must not be bridged or shorted.
  • Changing or handling the batteries must always be carried out under the supervision of an adult.
  • Remove the batteries from the compartment if the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time.
  • Please respect the environment and deposit used batteries in the containers provided.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • This product achieves better performance using alkaline batteries.
  • Read the instructions before use, follow them and keep them for reference.
  • In an area with radio-frequency interference the product may not work properly; it will return to normal operation when the interference is removed.
  • Under the environment with electrostatic discharge, the sample may malfunction and require user to reset the sample.
  • Under the environment with Fast Transient, the sample may malfunction and require user to reset the sample.
  • Remove all elements designed to fasten and protect the product during transport before giving it to children (plastic pieces, labels, wires, etc.).
