Overview

Introduction

Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in Hungarian language.
This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. Keep children away from the packaging material, if it contains poly bag or other hazardous component!

INSTALLATION

Power supply can be provided in several ways. The clock memory requires a CR 2032 button cell. It is in its place by delivery. If the clock forgets the exact time later, then this button cell has to be replaced. Remove the small cover inside the battery compartment with a screwdriver and insert a new button cell according to the marked polarity. For activating the LED display, included adapter has to be connected, or 3 x AAA (1,5 V) batteries have to be inserted. With battery powered operation, the device becomes portable. It is recommended to turn off the continuous displaying to save battery lifetime. In this case, a service life of 3-4 weeks is expected.

• Immediately remove the depleted batteries! Do not use different kinds of batteries and/or used and new batteries together! Nonrechargeable batteries must not be charged! Risk of explosion! Do not insert accumulators instead of batteries because they have a significantly lower voltage and efficiency!

FUNCTIONS

After installation you will hear a voice signal and display will start lighting. You can step the following functions with SET button: TIME – DATE – A1 alarm – A2 alarm – A3 alarm – TIME...
Push and hold the SET button for 2 seconds during time then later during date displaying to start setting. You can step values slowly by repeatedly pressing of UP/DOWN buttons or quickly, by holding these buttons. You can step forward with SET button to the next parameter to be set.

12/24 hour display - hour - minute...year - month - day

• If no button is pressed for 15 seconds, it will exit the settings and record the current data.
• Press and hold the DOWN button for 2 seconds to switch between °C and °F measuring units.
• The appliance needs 15 to 20 minutes to adjust the ambient temperature. The measurements are repeated every 60 seconds.

CUSTOMIZABLE DISPLAY MODES

Press UP button more times to select one of the three modes.
DP-1: it will show time (10 sec) and date (2 sec) alternately
DP-2: selected function (SET) will be displayed continuously, e.g. date
DP-3: continuous time displaying, date can be visible for 15 seconds after pressing SET button

ENERGY SAVING MODE – CLAP ACTIVATED SWITCH, ACOUSTIC SWITCH

Select energy saving mode with DOWN button, if you operate your device with 3 x AAA batteries. It is recommended to do so, if the strong brightness of the display is disturbing at night. By clapping or tapping to the furniture under the clock, the current time is visible for 10 seconds, then the display will switch off.
– – SD: energy saving mode and sound detector is switched off
ON SD: energy saving mode and acoustic switch is activated

ALARM SETTING

It is possible to set 3 times simultaneously and the alarm is repeated daily. The beep-beep sounds for a minute or can be turned off by any button. Select one of A1-A2-A3 alarms with SET button. Then keep holding for 2 seconds and set the desired time with UP and DOWN buttons. After setting the hours, press SET to continue setting the minutes.
In the upper line of the display, a point lights up in case of the alarm has been set. The UP button will turn on or off the currently selected A1, A2 or A3 alarm time.
– – A1, – – A2, – – A3: alarm is switched off
ON A1, ON A2, ON A3: alarm is switched on

• If no button is pressed for 15 seconds, it will exit the settings and record the current data.
• When alarm is active, the dark display which is set to energy saving mode will turn on automatically.

CLEANING

Power off the product by unplugging the connection cable! Use soft, dry cloth for regular cleaning. It is forbidden to use detergents! Avoid to get any liquids on the surface and inside of the unit!

WARNINGS

• Please read the instructions carefully before use, and keep it to have it available in the future!
• Protect it from dust, humidity, liquids, heat, dampness, frost, shock and direct thermal radiation or sunshine! Use only indoor, in dry circumstances!
• Do not expose the device to splashing water and do not place objects, filled with liquids e.g.: glass on it!
• Opened source of flame cannot be placed on the device!
• If you do not use the product for longer period, remove the batteries!
• It is forbidden to touch the adapter or the connecting cable with wet hands! In case of any damage of them, immediately power off the device!
• Due to continuous improvements the design and specifications may change without any prior notice.
• We don't take the responsibility for printing errors and apologize if there's any.

Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.

Waste equipment must not be collected separately or disposed of with household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.

DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product's user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment-friendly way.
