Wash Cycles

The wash cycles are designed for specific types of wash loads. Select the cycle that best matches the load
contents for maximum wash performance and fabric care. See Sorting Laundry section for best results,
and follow the fabric care labels on your garments. For a guide to fabric care symbols, see Sorting
Laundry section.
Cycle Guide
Turn the knob to select the desired cycle. When you select a wash cycle, the standard presets appear in the
display.
NOTE
• Whenever load weights are mentioned, assume 1 lb (0.45 kg) = 1 thick bath towel (dry).
Default Cycles
These cycles are in the initial cycle list.
Cycle
Description Combined wash+dry cycle for mixed loads, cotton or linen.
• For best drying performance when using the Wash+Dry cycle, it might not dry as
well as when you select Normal dry option.
Wash Temp. Default: Warm
Spin Speed Default: Ex. High
Soil Level Default: Medium
Dry Option Default: Normal

Description Combined wash+dry cycle optimized for laundry contents.

Cycle
Description Use to wash all normal items such as cotton, linen, shirts, jeans or mixed loads, except
delicate fabrics such as wool or silk.
• Pressing the Start/Pause button without selecting a cycle will cause the Normal
cycle to begin immediately, using the default settings.
• Temperature indicator lights up and the selected setting is shown in
the knob display: Tap Cold
• Spin indicator lights up and the selected setting is shown in the knob
display: No Spin , Low
