Indicating LEDs
The control unit has three main LEDs for indication:
POWER indicates power on. Flashes when low voltage.
l
WARNING indicates one or more* active alarm. Flash-
l
es when not acknowledged.
ALARM indicates one or more* active alarm activating
l
automatic stop. The LED is lit until the engine has
stopped completely.
Three of the buttons (START, STOP and CHANGE VIEW)
also contain LEDs. The LED in the START button is lit
when the engine is starting. The LED in the STOP button
is lit when the engine is stopping. The LED in the
CHANGE VIEW button is lit if more than one alarm is ac-
tive at one time.

Alarms and fault indication

When an alarm is active the WARNING/ALARM* indicat-
ing LED will immediately start to flash/lights* and the
acoustic alarm sounds. The first alarm that occur will ap-
pear in the alarm text field on the LCD screen and an indi-
cating * / + blinking will appear in front of the text.
The cause of the alarm is indicated on top of the LCD
screen, e.g.: "Low oil pressure, alarm".
IMPORTANT! Stop the engine immediately after an
alarm for low oil pressure (engine or reverse gear).
Investigate and correct the malfunction.
IMPORTANT! Reduce engine speed to idle (neutral)
after an alarm for high engine coolant temperature.
Stop the engine if the temperature does not drop. In-
vestigate and correct the malfunction.
IMPORTANT! Reduce engine speed to idle (neutral)
after an alarm for high exhaust temperature. Investi-
gate and correct the malfunction.
* ALARM: The electrical system include an autostop function (optional)
and the engine stops automatically.
