  • Page 2 The Network Cable Tester comes in two modular units, a master unit and a remote terminator. The modular design enables the tester to be used for local loop-back test of a patch cable or remote testing of pre-installed premise wiring. The Network Cable Tester verifies continuity of individual wires and identifies open, shorted and cross-connected wires.

(a) Auto Scan Mode: Press and release the button, the LED in the TX row will scroll in sequence (1,2,..., shield and repeat), to indicate the pins being tested.
