■ Contacts
You can save names and
phone numbers (Contacts)
in the phone memory or in the SIM
card memory.
The phone supports presence
enhanced contact (network service)
containing
My presence
Subscribed
names. In the
presence
menu you can publish your
current availability status to
communicate to anyone who has
access to this service and who is
requesting this information. In the
Subscribed names
create a list of contacts whose
presence status you would like to see
and use this list to quickly view their
availability status.
Searching for a contact
Press Menu, and select
Search, or press the scroll key down
in standby mode.
Scroll up or down to the name that
you want. If the contact is saved in
the SIM card memory,
on the top of the display. Press
Details, and scroll to view the details
of the selected contact.
The subscribed names are shown
differently, depending on the
Contacts view
selection. See
"Settings for contacts"
and

Saving names and phone
numbers (Add contact)
Press Menu, and select
Add new
contact. Key in the name,
press OK, and key in the phone
number, and press OK.
Tip: Quick save In standby
mode, key in the phone
number, and press Save. Key
in the name, and press OK.
Saving multiple numbers or
text items per name
You can save different types of
phone numbers and short text items
for a contact in the phone memory
for contacts. A text item may be, for
example, an address.
The first number you save is
automatically set as the default
number, and it is indicated with a
frame around the number type
indicator, for example
select a name from contacts, for
example, to make a call, the default
number is used unless you select
another number.
