How do I set up my machine the first time?
To set up the OxyGo 1400-5100 machine for the first time, follow these steps:
1. Placement: Put the concentrator in a well-ventilated area, at least 6 to 12 inches away from walls, furniture, or curtains. Ensure that the ventilation ports at the bottom and back are not blocked.
2. Filters: Make sure both the inlet filter and gross particle filter are properly installed. Do not operate the device without these filters.
3. Power Connection: Plug the AC power cord into an electrical outlet.
4. Humidifier (if needed): If using a humidifier, connect tubing from the concentrator’s oxygen outlet to the humidifier. Then connect the oxygen supply tube or nasal cannula to the humidifier.
5. Inspection: Do not use the device or any accessories if they show signs of damage.
