entirety before you attempt to assemble or
operate your new lawn mower. Your new lawn
mower has been assemUed at the factory with
the exce' :_on of those parts leftunassembled
for ship_. _ purposes. All parts such as nuts,
washers, b_-;_s, e tc., necessary to complete the
assembly have been placed in the pads beg.
To ensure safe and proper operation of your
lawn mower, all parts and hardware you
assemble must be tightened securely. Use the
correcttools as necessary to ensure proper
tightness.
TO REMOVE LAWN MOWER FROM
CARTON
• Remove loose parts includedwith mower.
• Cut down two end comers of carton and lay
end panel down fiat.
• Remove all packing materialsexcept
padding be_een
upper and lower handle

HOW TO SET UP YOUR LAWN
MOWER
TO UNFOLD HANDLE
IMPORTANT: Unfold handles carefully so as
not to pinch or damage controlcables.
• Raise handles untillower handle section
locks intoplace in mowing po,._ion.
• Remove protective padding, raise upper
handle sec_on intoplace on lower handle
and tighten both handle knobs.
• Remove handle padcing holdingoparator
presence controlbar to upper handle.
• Your lawn mower handle can be adjusted
for your mowing comfort. Refer to "Adjust
Handle" in the Service and Adjustment
section of this manual.
