Your Eccotemp L10nr water heater may not be producing hot water due to the following reasons:
1. Altitude – If you are operating the water heater above 2,000 feet, efficiency and performance decrease by 10% for every 1,000 feet above this level. 2. Gas and Water Knob Settings – Ensure the gas knob is set to maximum and the water knob is adjusted lower towards minimum to allow the water to heat more effectively. 3. Incoming Water Temperature – If the incoming water is too cold, the heater may not reach the desired temperature. Adjust the hot and cold knobs accordingly. 4. Sediment Buildup – Unfiltered water can cause scale, lime, or rust deposits, affecting performance. Flushing the system with a descaler may help.
If the issue persists, additional troubleshooting or maintenance may be needed.
