Receiving t he m em orized

Press (SOURCE) repeatedly to select the
tuner.

Press (MODE) repeatedly to select the
band.

Press M (preset up) or m (preset dow n)
repeatedly to receive the stations in the
order they are stored in the memory.
Tip
If you memorizing t he st at ion using t he but t ons of
t he unit , press t he number but t on ((1) t o (6)) on
w hich t he desired st at ion is st ored.
If you cannot t une in a preset
st at ion
Press < or , to search for the station
(automatic tuning).
Scanning stops when the unit receives a
station. Press < or , repeatedly until the
desired station is received.
Note
If t he aut omat ic t uning st ops t oo f requent ly, press
(MENU), t hen press M or m repeat edly unt il
" Local" (local seek mode) is displayed. Then press
, t o select " Local on." Press (ENTER).
Only t he st at ions w it h relat ively st rong signals w ill
be t uned in.
Tips
• When you select t he " Local on" set t ing,
" LCL Seek" appears w hile t he unit is searching
f or a st at ion.
• If you know t he f requency of t he st at ion you
w ant t o list en t o, press and hold < or , unt il
t he desired f requency appears (manual t uning).

If FM st ereo recept ion is poor

During radio reception, press (MENU) ,
then press M or m repeatedly until
"M ono" appears.

Press , until "M ono on" appears.
The sound improves, but becomes
monaural ("ST" disappears).

Press (ENTER) .
To return to normal mode, select "Mono off"
in step 2.
If FM st ereo broadcast becom es
m onaural
If interference occurs, the "IF Auto" function of
this unit will automatically avoid noise and
narrow the reception frequency. In such cases,
some FM stereo broadcasts may become
monaural. If you would like to hear such
broadcasts in stereo, manually switch to the
"Wide" setting.
