  • Page 12 Mains isolation device The Rolls-Royce Connected Wallbox does not have its own mains switch. The residual-current- operated circuit breaker and/or the circuit breaker in the supply cable are used as a mains isolation device.

    Ideally, the Rolls-Royce Connected Wallbox should be stored for a few hours in advance at the installation site. If this is not possible, the Rolls-Royce Connected Wallbox should not be stored in low temperatures (< 5 °C) overnight outdoors or in a vehicle.
  • Page 14 RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION POSITIONS When selecting the installation position, taken note of the position of the charge connector on your vehicle and the direction in which you normally park it. REQUIRED DISTANCE Follow applicable accessibility requirements for the mounting position. The unit must be mounted at a su cient height from ground such that the storage height is located between 1,000 mm (39 inch) and 1.2 m (4 ).

It includes a mounting template to mark the screw locations for the mounting bracket and cable holder (optional). 2. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall. The cable holder is optional and depicted in the gure for demonstration purposes.

  • Page 18 CURRENT SETTING The factory current se ing for the Rolls-Royce Connected Wallbox is 6 A. To achieve top charging capacity, it is recommended to set the DIP switch se ing to 32 A. This se ing must only be made if the installation is safely designed and approved for this capacity.

    COMMISSIONING Install the middle cover. Torque: 1.0 Nm (8.7 lb·in) Install and lock the cosmetic plate. An audible click sounds denotes a closed faceplate.

    OPERATION The Rolls-Royce Connected Wallbox is supplied as standard with its access control by app enabled. Please adjust the DIP switch accordingly if you do not want to use access control via app. Please refer to section 5.3. START CHARGING WITH ENABLED ACCESS CONTROL 1.

In order to use the Wallbox Installer App, the DIP switch must be set correctly (refer to section 5.4).
