USING PRODUCT

First use

1. Remove all packaging, labels and accessories inside and outside the kettle before the first use.
   
2. Water boiled for the first two or three times should be poured out for the purpose of cleaning. Then wipe the exterior of the kettle with a dry cloth.
   

Note: the electronic connectors on the bottom of the kettle and the power base should not be exposed to water,

Quick installation

1. Adjust the length of the power cord through the winding device of the power base.
   
2. Place the kettle on the power base.
   

Use guidelines

1. Open the lid of kettle
   • Pull the lid handle upwards to open the lid of kettle.
     
2. Add an appropriate amount of water
   
   • Do not add any water when the kettle is on the base.
   • The level of water added should not be 1.7 L more than the maximum water level.
   • It is overfilled, water may splash out after boiling.
3. Cover the lid of kettle
   
   • Tightly cover the lid of kettle when pressing it downwards.
4. Place the kettle on the power base
   
   • Make sure to place the power base on a flat, clean, heat-resistant surface.
   • An exclusive power base is needed for the kettle.
   • Please dry off the bottom of the kettle.
   • Do not use the kettle when there is no water inside it.
5. Plug in
   
6. Press the ON/OFF switch for heating
   
   • Press the switch for heating after preparations.
   • The switch indicator is ON, and the kettle will be automatically disconnected after water boiling.

CLEANING & MAINTAINING

Cleaning of kettle

1. Disconnect the power plug.
2. Clean the inside of kettle with a wet sponge after it cools down.

Note: Do not soak the kettle, power base, power cord or plug in water (the electronic connectors on the bottom and the base of the kettle should not be exposed to water).

Descaling

1. The kettle needs to be descaled regularly, once a month at least. If the water quality is poor, the frequency should be increased.
2. If there are spots on the heating plate, it is the limescale, which is a normal phenomenon, and you can clean it by scrubbing with a scouring pad gently. If the situation is more serious, the following methods can be used for descaling.

Tips for descaling the kettle

Use white vinegar

• Add 100 ml of white vinegar to the kettle.
• Keep it standing for 1 hour without any heating.
• After emptying the electric kettle, wash it with clean water 5 or 6 times. The repeated cleaning is allowed when necessary.

Use citric acid

• Add 10g of citric acid to electric kettle.
• Then add 500ml of clean water, and boil it.
• Keep it standing for 5-10 min after automatic power off. (If there is a large amount of scale, the standing duration can be extended.)
• Finally, pour out the water in the electric kettle, and wipe its bottom with a scouring pad.
