Product Structure

Function Introduction

1. Click to turn off the key tone / end beep

   1. Press and hold for 2s to convert °F and °C
   2. Click to display the timer and start brew timing
   3. Click again to clear the timer and exit the timer interface

1. Rotate to adjust the temperature of boiling and warming
2. Press to start/pause boiling water
3. Long press to turn off the machine

Function Symbol	Function Name	Operation Instruction
	Variable Temperature Control & Boiling Water	Rotate to select expect water temperature. By turning clockwise, the set temperature will be increased and vice versa. Press to start boiling water. Press again to pause boiling water. Note: Do not heat liquids other than water to avoid overflowing or sticking to the bottom.
Mute	Mute	Click to turn off the key tone and end beep.
Timer	0F/0C Conversion & Timer	Press and hold for 2s to convert oF and oC Click to start the brew timing and click again to clear the timer function. Note: This function is independent of the boiling water function.
	Cancel Automatic Warming Function	The machine will keep warm automatically for 1.5 hour after boiling water by default. If you don' t need the automatic warming function for a long time, disconnecting the power firstly, then pressing the [Mute] button and holding on and then re-powering at the same time. When there is one "beep" and the white screen shows, it indicates that automatic warming function has been cancelled. If you need re-start the automatic warming function, repeat above steps and when there is one "beep" and the screen shows "WARMING" this function has been active.

NOTE: The kettle body and the power base of K821 must be used together. Do not mix other brands of kettle or other models of BIJYDEEM kettle with k821' s power base, otherwise it may not work properly, or even trigger short circuit, electric shock and other dangers.

USING PRODUCT

Please do the boiling point test before first use

In areas where the altitude is higher than 250 meters, the water will boil before it reaches 1OO^OC and the water temperature will stop rising, where it is difficult for the machine to recognize and it will stop boiling water. Therefore, before using the machine for the first time, please conduct a boiling point test.

Add water to the MAX water line of 0.8L.	Disconnect the power, then press and hold the "'Mute" and '[Timer" buttons at the same time and power on the machine. Do not touch other function keys before that.	When the screen shows (HE), which means the machine has entered the boiling point. It takes about5 minutes, and the machine will be automatically shut down after the test is completed. Pour out the water and you may use it normally.

Cold Water Identification Function

If the cold water is added to the machine while the machine is boiling water, it will be identified and reheat to the specified temperature, so there is no need to worry about half-heated.

Automatic Shutdown

If the machine does not run the boiling or warming program, it will automatically shut down after 10 min for electricity safety.

Program Memory Function

When the kettle body is lifted during the boiling process and put back again within 10 min, the machine will continue to work in the previous state without user's repeated operation.

Boil-Dry Protection

Please keep the amount of water above the MIN water line. Don' t worry for dry boiling if there isn' t enough water. The machine will stop heating automatically after recognition for electricity safety. At this time, some marks of dry boiling may appear on the bottom of the machine (dark small spots), but the actual performance will not be affected.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning and maintenance

After boiling water, the minerals contained will be attached to the surface of the heating plate in the form of powder or lumps, which is what we usually called water scale. It is recommended to clean it every month to avoid reducing the heat conduction efficiency of the heating plate.

   • Add water to the machine to the MIN water line

   • Add fresh lemon slices, vinegar or other weak acidic substances
     
     
3. Step 3
   • Start boiling water to I00 ⁰C
     
     
4. Step 4
   • Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes after automatic power off
     
5. Step 5
   • Finally, wipe the inside bottom of the machine with Buydeem cleaning brush
     

Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
