My vacuum sealer will not seal a bag. It will vacuum it but the element doesn’t get hot to seal the bag.

The VEVOR VS5425 vacuum sealer may not seal bags despite vacuuming due to the following reasons:

1. Vacuum Pressure Sensor Issue: The vacuum pressure inside the bag may not be reaching the predetermined level. Check the sealing strip and foam gasket beneath the lid for debris or misalignment. Clean and adjust them as needed.
2. Foam Gasket Issues: There might be breaking or distortion in the foam gaskets on the cover or base. Remove the gasket, wash, dry, and replace it properly, or get a new gasket if necessary.
3. Leaky Bag: The vacuum bag may have a leak. Test the bag by sealing it with air inside, submerging it in water, and applying pressure. If bubbles appear, the bag has a leak. Reseal or use a new bag.
4. Seal Leaks: Wrinkles, debris, crumbs, grease, or liquids along the bag's sealing area can cause leaks. Open the bag, clean the top inside, smooth it out along the sealing strip, and reseal.

Address these factors to resolve the issue.
