Important: Over-tightening mounting fasteners may result in damage to your motorcycle. Please refer to your service manual for proper
procedures and torque specifi cations. KICKER is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation techniques. This kit may not
be compatible with some aftermarket head units.
GETTING STARTED
1. Protect painted surfaces.
2. Remove the seat.
3. Disconnect negative then positive battery terminals.
TOUR PACK PREP
4. Remove the rear speakers from the speaker pods.
a. For stock grilles, use a T10 Torx driver to remove the 4 grille fasteners. (Fig. 1)
b. Gently lift the speaker out of the pod.
c. Disconnect the 2 terminals on the back side of the speaker. (Fig. 2)
5. Remove the Tour Pak liner.
a. Open the Tour Pak lid and hold it open so it is not supporting its own weight.
b. Remove the 2 T25 fasteners that hold the tether anchor to the liner and the Tour Pak. (Fig. 3)
c. Reinstall the tether to just the Tour Pak shell so the lid can be held under its own weight. (Fig. 4)
d. Slip the liner out of the Tour Pak shell.
6. Remove the left upper and lower-inner speaker pod bolts. (Fig. 5)
a. They have a blue lock-patch from the factory so they will be a little resistant coming out.
7. Mark and drill the harness and amp bracket access points.
a. Set the liner back into the Tour Pak and use a scribe, or similar tool, to mark the locations of the 2 bolts removed in step 6. (Fig. 6)
b. Remove the liner and drill 11/16" holes at your marked points. (Fig. 7)
c. Underneath the lower bolt access hole, cut a rectangle access for the amp harness plug and set the liner aside. (Fig. 7)
HARNESS INSTALLATION
8. Remove the grommet from the right side of the Tour pak (this will not be reused). (Fig. 8)
9. Disconnect the antenna wires and rear lighting plug located behind the seat area. (Fig. 9)
10. Gently guide just the antenna wires back into the Tour Pak. (Fig. 10)
11. Guide the 2-place molex connector on the amp harness through the grommet hole, then reroute the antenna wires. (Fig. 10)
NOTE: If your motorcycle is equipped with a +12V power source in the corner of the Tour Pak, install the supplied "Y" harness between the
+12V source and the Tour Pak harness. (Fig. 11)
12. Plug the blue wire on the amp harness either to the Tour Pak harness or to the supplied "Y" harness. (Fig. 12)
13. Guide the left and right speaker wires through one of the holes in the Tour Pak and into their respective speaker pod. (Fig. 13)
14. Reinstall the liner and guide the amp harness plug through to the inside of the liner. (Fig. 14)
15. Check for adequate wire length for each component once the liner is installed. (Fig. 14)
16. Reinstall the Tour Pak tether through the liner. (Fig. 15)
AMP AND BRACKET INSTALLATION
17. Install the bolts removed in step 6 into the amp bracket. (Fig. 16)
18. Install the provided spacer to the lower mount bolt.
19. Install the bracket assembly to the Tour Pak and fully secure the hardware. (Fig. 17)
20. Plug the amp harness into the amplifi er and line up the 3 mount holes with the bracket. (Fig. 18)
21. Use the supplied hardware to fasten the amp to the bracket as shown. (Fig. 18)
SPEAKER INSTALLATION
22. Using the supplied heat shrink, connect the amp harness to the stock speaker wires and activate the heat shrink over each terminal
to reduce the risk of a short. (Fig. 19)
23. Install your new Kicker speakers by connecting the amp harness terminals to each speaker and reinstalling the grilles. (Fig. 20)
POWER LEAD INSTALLATION
24. Install the power lead harness to the battery. (Fig. 21)
25. Connect the amp harness to either power lead. (Fig. 22)

    Please refer to your bike’s factory service manual for disassembly/installation information. Typically, you should retain all factory screws, hardware, and grilles when upgrading your bike to a KICKER system. The KICKER PSC65 is compatible with factory locations using the included gaskets. If you are doing a custom installation, be careful not to drill into wiring or vehicle mechanisms.

    (Best for Hi-Level input) Input Level: The RCA inputs on KICKER PXA amplifi ers are capable of receiving either Hi or Low-level signals from your source unit. When using a Hi-Level signal, simply set the Input Level switch on the amplifi er to HI.
