Electrode grinding
On TIG AC mode
The electrode will not need grinding, except when using a very low current <50A. It is normal for a ball to appear at the
end of the electrode. The ball size will become larger as the current and balance is increased.
On TIG DC mode
To optimise the welding process, it is recommended to grind the electrode prior to welding as described in the diagram
below :

The trigger command socket is laid out in the following way:

REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control operates in TIG and MMA mode.
Connector technology
The TIG 200 A HF AC/DC are equipped with a female socket for a remote control. The specific 7 point male plug
(ref.045699) enables connection to a manual remote control (RC) or foot pedal (PEd).
For the cabling lay out, see the diagram below.

Connecting remote/pedal
1- Power up the machine
2- Plug the pedal/remote control to the connecting socket on the machine.
3- The screen will flash and display « No » (Nothing),
4- Select the type of control by turning the intensity adjustment knob:
« No » (Nothing) / « RC »
5- Turn the knob until the desired selecton is reached, and after 2 seconds the display will freeze on the chosen selection.
NB: In case of error, unplug the remote control, ( « No » will be displayed) and re-start the connection
process.
Remark: You will be asked to specify the remote connected each time the machine is powered up.
