Before operating the system, please read this guide thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, do not cover the ventilation opening of the appliance with newspapers,
tablecloths, curtains, etc.
Do not expose the appliance to naked flame sources (for example, lighted candles).
Do not install the appliance in a confined space, such as a bookcase or built-in cabinet.
Do not expose the batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) to excessive heat such as sunshine,
fire or the like for a long time.
If your skin touches the USB AC adaptor or this product for a long time when the power is on, it may
cause a low temperature injury.
Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary cells or batteries.
Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If
contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical
advice.
Do not use any cell or battery which is not designed for use with the equipment.
Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use.
After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells or
batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
Dispose of properly.
The nameplate and important information concerning safety are located on the bottom exterior.
Precautions
On placement
ˎ Do not set the speaker in an inclined location. ˎ
ˎ Do not leave the system in a location near heat sources, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, ˎ
excessive dust, or mechanical shock.
ˎ Do not use or leave the system in a car. ˎ
ˎ Do not use the system in a sauna. ˎ
On cleaning
ˎ Do not use alcohol, benzine, or thinner to clean the cabinet. ˎ
Others
ˎ When using the Speaker Add or Wireless Party Chain function, the codec is changed to SBC. ˎ
ˎ At high temperature, the charging may stop or the volume may reduce to protect the battery. ˎ
ˎ Even if you do not intend to use the system for a long time, charge the battery to its full capacity ˎ
once every 6 months to maintain its performance.
About the Voice Guidance
IMPORTANT: THE SOUND GUIDANCE IS AVAILABLE IN THIS PRODUCT ONLY IN ENGLISH
Depending on the status of the system, the voice guidance outputs from the speaker as followings.
ˎ When setting the system to the pairing mode; "Bluetooth pairing" (Bluetooth pairing) ˎ
ˎ When pressing and holding the ˎ (call) button to check the battery power during the system is
turned on; "Fully charged/About 70%/About 50%/About 20%/Please charge"
ˎ When the battery power is low; "Please charge" ˎ
ˎ When changing the L/R on SongPal during the Speaker Add function; "Left/Right" ˎ

Notes on water resistant feature
(Read before using the system)
Water resistant performance of the system
This system has a water resistant specification* 1, * 2 of IPX5* 3 as specified in "Degrees of protection
against ingress of water" of the IEC60529 "Ingress Protection Rating (IP Code)." however, this
system is not completely water-tight.
Do not drop the system into hot water in a bathtub or purposely use it in water.

Not applicable : liquids other than the above (soapy water, water with detergent or
bath agents, shampoo, hot spring water, pool water, seawater, etc.)

The water resistant performance of the system is based on our measurements under the
conditions herein described. Note that malfunctions as a result of water immersion caused by
misuse by the customer are not covered by the warranty.
To avoid the deterioration of the water resistant performance
Check the following and use the system correctly.
ˎ Do not use or leave the system in an extremely hot or cold environment (temperature outside the ˎ
range of 5 °C – 35 °C (41 °F – 95 °F)). If the system is used or left in outside the above range, the
system may automatically stop to protect internal circuitry.
ˎ Be careful not to drop the system or subject it to mechanical shock. Deformation or damage may ˎ
cause deterioration of the water resistant performance.
ˎ Do not use the system in a location where large amount of water or hot water may splash on it. ˎ
The system does not have a design that is resistant to water pressure. Use of the system in the
above location may cause a malfunction.
ˎ Do not pour high-temperature water or blow hot air from a hair dryer or any other appliance on
ˎ
the system directly. Also, never use the system in high temperature locations such as in saunas or
near a stove.
ˎ handle the cap with care. The cap plays a very important role in maintenance of the water ˎ
resistant performance. When using the system, make sure that the cap is closed completely.
When closing the cap, be careful not to allow foreign objects inside. If the cap is not closed
completely the water resistant performance may deteriorate and may cause a malfunction of the
system as a result of water entering the system.

How to care for the system when wet
Guia de Referência If the system gets wet, first remove the water from the system, and then wipe off the moisture on
the system using a soft, dry cloth. Especially in cold regions, leaving moisture on its surface may
cause the system to freeze and malfunction. Be sure to wipe off the moisture after using the
system.
Put the system on towel or dry cloth. Then leave it at room temperature and dry the system until no
moisture remains.

Las celdas o baterías secundarias necesitan cargarse antes de ser utilizadas.
Después de largos períodos de almacenamiento, puede ser necesario cargar y descargar las celdas
o baterías varias veces para obtener el rendimiento máximo.

Notas sobre la característica de impermeabilidad

Impermeabilidad del sistema
Este sistema cuenta con una especificación de impermeabilidad* 1, *
"Grados de protección frente a la penetración del agua" de "Grados de protección de ingreso
(Código IP)" IEC60529. Sin embargo, no es completamente impermeable.
No deje caer el sistema en el agua caliente de una bañera ni lo use intencionadamente en el agua.
Líquidos aplicables a las especificaciones de impermeabilidad
Aplicable: agua dulce, agua corriente
No aplicable: todos los demás líquidos (agua jabonosa, agua con detergente o
agentes de baño, champús, agua de manantial, agua de piscina,
agua de mar, etc.)

La impermeabilidad del sistema se basa en nuestras mediciones bajo las condiciones descritas

Para evitar el deterioro de la impermeabilidad
Controle lo siguiente y utilice el sistema correctamente.
ˎ No coloque ni deje el sistema en lugares extremadamente fríos o extremadamente calientes ˎ
(temperaturas fuera del rango de 5 °C a 35 °C (41 °F a 95 °F)). Si usa o deja el sistema en lugares
con temperaturas fuera del rango antes mencionado, puede que este deje automáticamente de
proteger los circuitos internos.
ˎ Tenga cuidado de no dejar caer el sistema y evite someterlo a golpes. Las deformaciones o los ˎ
daños podrían deteriorar la impermeabilidad.
ˎ No use el sistema en lugares donde pueda salpicarse con grandes cantidades de agua o agua ˎ
caliente. El sistema no cuenta con un diseño que sea resistente a la presión del agua. El uso del
sistema en una ubicación como la mencionada anteriormente puede causar un fallo de
funcionamiento.
ˎ No vierta agua caliente ni sople aire caliente con un secador de pelo, ni con ningún aparato ˎ
similar, directamente sobre el sistema. Además, no use el sistema en lugares con altas
temperaturas como saunas ni cerca de estufas.
ˎ Manipule la cubierta cuidadosamente. La cubierta cumple un papel muy importante en el ˎ
rendimiento de la impermeabilidad. Cuando utilice el sistema, asegúrese de que la cubierta esté
completamente cerrada. Cuando cierre la cubierta, asegúrese de no dejar objetos extraños
dentro. Si la cubierta no se cierra completamente, la impermeabilidad podría verse afectada y
esto podría producir fallos en el funcionamiento del sistema como resultado de la penetración
del agua en el sistema.

Cómo proceder cuando el sistema se moja
Si el sistema se moja, primero retire el agua del sistema y luego seque la humedad adherida al
sistema con un paño suave y seco. Especialmente en las regiones frías, si no se retira la humedad
de la superficie, es posible que el sistema se congele y provoque un fallo de funcionamiento.
Asegúrese de secar la humedad después de utilizar el sistema.
Coloque el sistema sobre una toalla o paño seco. Luego déjelo a temperatura ambiente y séquelo
hasta que no queden restos de humedad.
