- Page 4 OPERATION Filling the Tank with Diesel Fuel Before use, read and follow all safety instructions on page 2 of this user's manual. 1. Before filling, make sure the tank has no defects in the structure or equipment. 2. When filling the tank, maintain a minimum amount of empty space to allow for fuel expansion. Do not to fill the tank beyond 95% of capacity (approximately 55 gallons).
