    5.0 Cleaning and Maintenance IMPORTANT Corrosion Prevention: This unit MUST be completely drained, cleaned and emptied DAILY. Leaving water in the unit for an extended period while continually topping up with water, will cause the chloride levels to increase. As the water evaporates the chlorides and other impurities are left behind becoming concentrated.
