Thefollowingitems are packagedloosein thecarton:

REMOVING THE UNiT FROM THE CARTON
1. Cut the cornersof thecarton and laythe sidesflat on the ground.
Removeall packinginserts.
2. Movethe mowerand grasscatcheroutof the carton.
3. Makecertainthe carton has beencompletelyemptiedbefore
discardingit.
ASSEMBLING THE HANDLE
1. Removeany packingmaterialwhich may be betweenupperand
lowerhandles.
2. Looseneachhand knobfoundon theinside of the upperhandle.
3. Gentlylift and pivotthe upper handleintothe operatingposition
as shownin Figure1.
6. Tightenstar knobs securinglowerhandleto handle brackets.See
Figure2. Makecertain the lowerhandle is seatedsecurelyinto
the handlemountingbrackets.

1. Lift rear dischargedoor.
2. Removemulchingbaffle.See Figure3.

4. Removestar knobsfrom handlemountingbracketsand secure
the lowerhandleonto the handlebracketsby placingthe lower
hole of the lowerhandleontothe pinsof the handlebrackets.
5. Securethe upper handleand lowerhandlebytighteningthe
hand knobs. Eachcarriagebolt mustbe seatedproperlyintothe
squarehole foundin the plasticconnector.
