SSI SAFE-T-LOCK, SAFE-T-LOCK PLUS - Programmable Code Switch Manual

INSTALLATION

1. Mount the Safe-T-Lock™ / Safe-T-Lock™ Plus Programmable Code Switch with 2, #8 screws. (not provided) Recommend mounting in a easily accessible location, such as on the dash panel.
2. Install provided bushing to protect wire from chafi ng.
3. After connected, make sure the wires are not in tension.

INSTALLATION ON VEHICLES WITHOUT KEY SWITCH

Unit to be installed by qualified technition.

1. Unit will detect if the seat switch is normally open, normally closed and switch polarity.
2. For bigger loads, an external relay must be used.
3. Connection not required on vehicles without key switch
4. (STL3000 only) Blue leads fror auxillary output

INSTALLATION ON VEHICLES WITH KEY SWITCH

1. Unit will detect switch polarity.
2. Switch must be normally open when seat is unoccupied
3. For bigger loads, an external relay must be used.
4. Automatically logs user out when key is turned off.
5. (STL3000 only) Blue leads for auxillary output

OUTPUT: Relay contact rating: 10AMP up to 24, 1AMP 36VDC and higher For bigger loads, an external relay must be used.

CONSTRUCTION: Epoxy encapsulated electronics, unit is rated IP65. There are no user serviceable parts in this unit.
