Network Connection Plug the network connection into the Ethernet port. The connection can be POE. Ethernet Port Customer’s Router The Ethernet port is compatible with 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet. POE injector is not included. DHCP The device is set up for DHCP by default. If you need a static IP address, call us at 855-694-2837. We use DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) to assign an IP address to each Watchman device. - Page 5 Relays: Direct Wire to Faceplate Wet Connection, Normally Open The door or lock opens when power is added. When active, sends 12 V. 12 Volt Source Diode Gate or Door Diode must be installed at the gate or lock side. Check that the gray stripe aligns with the positive wire if you’re using a magnetic lock.
