Setting the Network preferences for a wireless LAN
C Signal
Reception level is displayed as a percentage. (1-100%)
D Mode
Mode is displayed as below.
Infra: Infrastructure mode
Adhoc: Adhoc mode
Tip
The existing wireless LAN access point may not be detected due to reception
conditions. Also, your CLIÉ handheld cannot detect an SSID if that SSID is set to
be hidden at the wireless LAN access point side.
In this case, refer to "Manually creating a connection to the wireless LAN access
points" on page 107.

Select an access point from the list, and tap [Select].
The Wireless LAN Setup screen for a new profile is displayed.
Tip
If the SSID is already registered on your CLIÉ handheld, the Wireless LAN
Setup screen is displayed by selecting that SSID in the profile list.

Configure each setting.
A ProfileName :
Enter any profile name you prefer.
B SSID :
The SSID found in step 4 is displayed.
