In the use of electric machines and power tools, it is necessary to respect and follow the following safety instructions for the reasons of protection against electric shock, personal injury and danger of fire. The term “power tool” in the instructions below refers both to mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. If extension drums are used, these must be rolled out to prevent overheating of the cord.
