3. Accessing the menu To access the main menu of the terminal, enter the password using the Key Pad. Planet will manage set-up of the Password before the terminal arrives to the store. The Password itself will be decided by the merchant. -

Switching from Integrated to standalone mode If the Merchant is facing a Network/LAN disconnection and the operator has enabled GPRS mode, the terminal will operate in Standalone mode. (The Merchant’s Network team should be able to advise the Merchant on status/issues related to the Network Connection.) As with Refunds, the terminal will be configured to enter a password to perform this function for security purposes.
