    1) INTRODUCTION 1.1 General information This manual refers to AIR COMBO EVO heat pump water heater and provides instructions for transport, installation, assembly, control and use of the unit. It also provides information for maintenance work, the presence of residual risks and instruction to personnel.

    MIUM - AIR COMBO EVO 6.1 Lighting The installation site of the machine must have enough natural/artificial light in accordance with the regulations in force in the country of installation of the machine. The lighting must be uniform, ensure good visibility at all points of the machine, not create dangerous reflections and allow the control panel to be clearly read.

    MIUM - AIR COMBO EVO 7) HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS Do not use materials that are not resistant to high temperatures. Do not use hoses for unit connection. Connect water outlets/inlets using pipes and fittings that are resistant to working pressure and also to hot water temperatures of up to 70°C.

To compensate for pressure variations and/or water hammering in the cold water network and to avoid water leaks, it is recommended to install an expansion vessel.

    MIUM - AIR COMBO EVO 8) AERAULIC CONNECTIONS 8.1 Possible installations The unit should be installed inside the building, preferably in a technical room or in a laundry room or garage. However, it is always preferable to avoid installation in the vicinity of bedrooms or rooms to be particularly acoustically protected.

    MIUM - AIR COMBO EVO 8.4 Ducted (conditioned) expulsion In this particular installation, the unit draws in air from the room in which it is installed, extracts the heat from it and then expels it outside the home. The unit must be installed in a room with the appropriate openings to allow the correct flow of air to the unit, avoiding the risk of depressurising the room.

    MIUM - AIR COMBO EVO 8.6 Connections Outside air inlet and outlet ducts, if they are outside a cover, must end with a 90° downward bend to prevent water from entering the air inlets. To make the ductwork: • connect the ducts by fastening them to the couplings with special couplings on the circular flanges.

Incorrect installation of the unit can lead to water leakage, condensate accumulation, refrigerant leakage, electric shock, fire, malfunction or damage to the unit itself.
